KidsPrinter is an app for parents and teachers that makes printable practice sheets for children aged 3 to 6. It is published by Rokapps (info.rokapps@gmail.com). We do not ask for, collect or store personal information about you or your child on any server of ours. We have no accounts and no backend.
When you choose or take a photo to make a colouring page, dot-to-dot, mirror or jigsaw sheet, the photo is processed on your phone only, including cutting out the subject with Google ML Kit on-device subject segmentation. It is never uploaded by the app. It is kept in memory while you use the sheet and forgotten when you leave it.
A name typed into "Trace your name" is used only to draw the sheet on your phone. It is not stored or sent anywhere.
"Find a colouring page" opens Google Images (with SafeSearch on) inside the app. Your search words and the pages you open are sent to Google, as in any browser, and are covered by Google's privacy policy. A picture you choose is downloaded to your phone to make the sheet and is not sent to us.
Sheets are created as PDF files on your phone. Printing goes through Android's print service to the printer you choose. Saving and sharing use the Android apps you pick.
Printing, saving and sharing can be unlocked for the day by watching one rewarded video ad, served by Google AdMob. We tell AdMob that the app is directed at children (child-directed treatment) and limit ads to content rated G. In that mode Google limits the data it collects and does not show personalised ads. Google may still process technical information such as IP address and device type to serve and measure the ad, under Google's policies. The app does not access the device's advertising ID.
The monthly subscription is sold and managed by Google Play. We never see your payment details. The app only learns from Google Play whether a subscription is active, and remembers that on your phone so printing works offline.
Paper size, language, printer type (colour or black & white), whether the name line is shown, folded sections on the home screen, and the day an ad was watched are stored on your phone only. Uninstalling the app removes them.
KidsPrinter is meant to be used by an adult who prints sheets for a child. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe information about a child has reached us, write to us and we will delete it.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. Questions: info.rokapps@gmail.com.
